2018 Founder’s Review

The Founders’ Review is a signature event for the Fort Bend County social calendar, and this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever!

We will be honoring Carole and Bob Brown for their extraordinary contributions to the Sugar Land arts community. This year’s Founders’ Review theme will be “Heart & Soul” and is guaranteed to be an evening that pulls on your heartstrings and enriches your soul with entertainment by award winning Gospel group Composition of Praise.

Over the past eighteen years the Sugar Land Cultural Arts Foundation has raised over $1.6 million to restore the historic Sugar Land Auditorium. In 2014, the Sugar Land Cultural Arts Foundation expanded its mission to include arts production, education and outreach. In doing so the Sugar Land Cultural Arts Foundation has raised the bar in quality arts programming in Fort Bend County by producing numerous full production musicals. Further, the Sugar Land Cultural Arts Foundation’s Sugar Land Auditorium has hosted more than a dozen multi-cultural dance and music performances, twelve episodes of Southern India’s version of “American Idol”, four Chautauqua Talks, summer theatre camps for kids, and a chamber concert by the renowned forty-piece River Oaks Chamber Orchestra. Next year we are looking forward to performances of The Sound of Music, Aladdin Jr., Willy Wonka Jr. and many more entertaining events at the Sugar Land Auditorium.
